As a senior consultant I have been responsible for the technical delivery and guidance on a number of projects, spanning transportation and finance. This involved direct co-ordination and consultation with numerous stakeholders and 3rd Party Vendors around the world. Distilling diverse requests and requirements into consolidated designs which maintained the ethos that this was a product. Management of a small team of developers internally paired with management of a separate larger team of offshore resource provided it’s own unique challenges. In addition to project duties within Smart421 I take an active role with the Microsoft Practice contributing to interviews, training plans and internal best practice. A Key achievement within the practice was to oversee the architecture and implementation of TFS 2010 as a strategic system.

Brought in to the team as a Sharepoint specialist, my initial responsibility was to revive the performance of the Company's key Case Management Product. Due to success within this endeavour I took up the role of application architect within the development of a new generation of this system. Helping lead a team of 12 Developers we successfully re-wrote the application and incorporated it further in to the clients environments, through office and telephony integration.

This role entailed a complete re-architecture of internal departmental systems. The incumbent legacy system were out side of support agreements and proving increasingly limiting. As the Sole Developer within a diverse team, a great deal of weight was place upon my design and analysis abilities. Further to this the base infrastructure for the deployment SharePoint need to be solved.

Within the my period of in this post I grew the enhanced web development service at the university from nothing up to a service en compassing over 70 dynamic sites within both the DNN and WSS frameworks. Taking the Lead Role in development has allowed me to take the service into new areas.
