I have indulged in the elation of Architecture for over 20 years. I’ve been employed at Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects the entire duration. I’ve had the pleasure and exposure to a variety of commercial projects. I’ve worked on Biomedical facilities such as the Genentech OCN (formerly NIMO) campus in Oceanside, CA. The scope consisted of a series of buildings ranging from laboratories, warehouse, manufacturing and office space. The Genentech OCN campus won the Facility of the Year Award in 2007. My recent project was the Elephant Odyssey at the San Diego Zoo. A $45 million exhibit renovation to create a new, improved and much larger exhibit for its elephants. The project also incorporated other exhibits such as a Lion/Jaguar exhibit, a food service establishment and a merchandise shop. I’ve had exposure to every phase to building a building, from master planning to closeout procedures. I also have experience with the San Diego and Oceanside building department. Too many Building Department adventures to count. I’ve taken projects fully through the permitting process from submittal to pulling the permit.Specialties: AutoCAD, Revit, master planning, Biotech, manufacturing, laboratories, commercial office, new structures, tenant improvements and building department services.
