Washington, DC based, Emmy® Award winning broadcast professional with over 18 years of television news and corporate video production experience; Responsible for creating daily feature stories, coverage of live breaking news events, working with reporters, correspondents and producers under tight deadlines to deliver high quality content on a daily basis; Employs high level broadcast news storytelling techniques in combination with natural sound elements and film-style lighting both in studio and in the field under an array of environmental challenges; Able to collaborate with others on productions and also has a keen ability to work independently to gather elements, conduct interviews etc.Experience with various HD and SD video cameras(Panasonic HPX, Sony XDCAM, P2, SxS and AF100).Strong Editing skills with both AVID and FCP. Microwave truck/portable fly-away unit experience. Ability to uplink both analog and digital transmissions from remote locations. The ability to troubleshoot and track most issues with the production trucks and with all assigned gear. Strong people skills and works well under pressure. Advanced knowledge of new and emerging media platforms, compression software. Other experience included crafting feature stories for general assignment use, including location shoots in Los Angeles, NYC and London.
