ShootProof (aka Foreground), a PSG Equity portfolio company, combined five brands (ShootProof, Collage.com, Tave, Cole’s Classroom and DesignAglow) and focused on consumer and professional photography solutions. Supported both eCommerce and SaaS revenue models with ~$100M revenue and 145 employees in an all-remote workplace. Executive Leadership• Led multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, IT, Security, Compliance and Talent Acquisition. Over 50 staff was responsible for 4 product lines, AWS cloud infrastructure and IT support for over 140 employees. Also managed finance processes during gap without CFO and Controller. • Realized savings of over 25% in operating expenses without sacrificing productivity by consolidating duplicate systems and negotiating new and renewable contracts.• Utilized managed services and specialized vendors to stand up IT Help Desk, Procurement, Security, Compliance and Talent Acquisition functions from scratch. Mergers and Acquisitions• Integrated 5 brands into the Foreground umbrella, including the merger of Collage.com and ShootProof in a fully remote environment.• Enabled Foreground to optimize Product Development capacity by merging several engineering groups into one organization led by a cross-company set of leaders. • Simplified the Foreground operating model by identifying core business units to track operational objectives, optimize the value stream and allow management to prioritize resource allocation among the five brands.

Ansira is an independent advertising agency leading with professional services supported by proprietary software solutions that focus on the automotive and technology advertising industries. Achieved ~250M in revenue with over 1,800 employees after acquisition of CDK Digital (aka Sincro). Worked as management consultant before being hired as CIO in March of 2018.Executive Leadership• Led multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, IT, and Security. The 100 person staff was responsible for three different product lines, two data centers and IT support for over 1,800 employees.• Led transition from an in-office workplace across five offices (St Louis, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle and Detroit) to fully remote in 1 week during Covid 19 pandemic.Mergers and Acquisitions• Managed IT integration of Sincro (formerly CDK Digital) and Ansira during 2020. Merger of two 800+ employee firms across 6 locations with 9-month deadline in transition service agreements for all Finance, HR and IT systems. Process was completed on-time and within budget during Covid 19 pandemic.Digital Transformation• Eliminated information silos that resulted from several prior acquisitions that left each office with its own files storage and systems for managing key artifacts and communication. Replaced dated solutions with modern cloud tools such as MS Office 365, Zoom, MS Teams, JIRA and Confluence. This shrank our email burden by over 15% while reducing risk and improving productivity.• Led agile transformation to improve quality and predictability for the Channel Partner Marketing applications and teams. Allowed company to have transparency in the product and customer support backlogs while having the ability to prioritize capacity to the most critical areas.

Mediaocean, a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, acquired INVISION in July of 2016 to bolster their media systems portfolio for cable, satellite and syndication advertising sales. INVISION was a leading provider of ad-sales systems to the cable, network, satellite and syndication industries. DealMaker, DealMaker Digital, ProPost and Crossroad combined to achieve ~$20M in revenue with 110 employees. As one of the first employees of INVISION I worked in varying roles such as Technical Architect, Engineering Manager and eventually CIO.Executive Leadership• Led multiple teams including Engineering, QA, Architecture, and Infrastructure. Responsible for DealMaker, DMD and ProPost products which were supported by a staff of 30 engineers as well as one data center managed by a team of 4. Digital Transformation• Enabled the CFO and CEO to have a near real-time view of operations by integrating our systems that tracked product development, support and infrastructure. Stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Support and Finance now had an accurate and thorough view of all key metrics needed to run their departments.• Enabled the sale of INVISION to a private equity investor (ABS Capital) in 2008 by leading the migration of DealMaker from a proprietary tool (Forte) to a Java/J2EE platform. The project allowed continued enhancements to DealMaker while converting over 1,000,000 lines of code and lasted almost 3 years.

As one of the first employees of INVISION worked as a consultant with major media company. Also led the technical architecture of the DealMaker application.
