These included adding additional authorization for a secondary partner ID, the ability to capture the customer's credit card and store it for back-end processing in the database and adding a FedEx Tracking hyperlink to the customer's Account History that launched a pop-up window displaying the tracking information. I populated the database with uploaded product data that was provided by the client. I completed the application through testing and into production within a four week time frame to enable the client to achieve a critical contractual obligation. The finished site provided a full e-commerce experience, including multiple user levels and administration features.SQL Server, Visual Studio .NET (C#), WinFormsDesigned and implemented a new WinForms application to provide customers with Proof of Delivery (POD). I created an entirely new data store, including tables and stored procedures to contain the data for this application. I created a set of separated DataAccess and Object classes to implement all of the application's functionality. I created a custom and extensible module for querying Shippers for files showing POD. In the case of FedEx, for which this application was built, I injected an XML request into an HTTPRequest stream and received an XMLResponse. I then parsed the Base64 Encoded text within the appropriate section of the XMLResponse into a pdf file. I used the Winzip command-line to compress all pdf files per customer into one file. The single file was then either e-mailed as an attachment in Lotus Notes or sent via fax to the client. -
