Assisting all divisions (within Imtech Marine Group) with the negotiating, drafting and reviewing of a wide range of commercial documents related to the business of Imtech Marine. Familiar with the marine standard contracts for the global and inland shipping industry such as HME, FME, ORGALIME and BIMCO. Experience with the development and update of company contracting guidance and general sales and purchase conditions. Involvement with the development of a risk management and budget control program. Other key activities involved:• the purchase of a SAP ERP package and supporting the worldwide roll-out until the bankruptcy of Royal Imtech • conducting workshops on contract awareness and contract (risk) management (Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and the Netherlands)• corporate housekeeping• handling complex claims (disputes and variations) related to offshore and shipbuilding works• contributing to improvement of business processes by means of documenting and implementing lessons learned• conducting project reviews

Relocated to Head Office. Account manager for the Middle East travelling every five weeks to Abu Dhabi. Contributed to the development of a web based reporting tool and the standardisation of legal documents such as contracts, general terms and conditions, contract principles, checklists and FAQs.

Secondment posting to Abu Dhabi office. Legal Counsel charged with managing all legal matters for operations in the Middle East region (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrein, Qatar and Oman) and reporting to the Area Director Middle East. Worked with a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Providing legal support and advice to all business units within the Tebodin Group. Familiar with RVOI, DNR, UAV-GC, FIDIC, LOGIC , EPCM and EPC.

Providing support in residential real estate disputes. Supporting management with the development of a knowledge platform.

Providing advice on a broad range of real estate issues to housing associations.

Engaging in disputes (administrative proceedings) regarding the use of property as well as civil contractual disputes which arise as a result of the sale or purchase of property.

Engaging in landlord-tenant disputes, in particular instituting eviction procedures to terminate the tenancy.
