Represent the engineering department as the central point of contact for geospatial related projects. Develop measures and monitor the implementation and results of geospatial process improvement projects; evaluate process results, activities and outcomes and initiate improvements to maximize performance and ensure effective adoption of new/revised processes. Delson, Quebec

As Project Manager on this multiyear project for a Class I railroad, I assisted in producing the statement of work. I built and managed the team of technicians involved in this rail network data management project to produce a GIS railroad topology model of their entire rail network. I was involved from the Assessment and planning phase right to the delivery of the certified subdivision files. Integrating multiple sources of data on this complex project required regular revision of rail network`s data conversion production process. Daily contact with the client's PM and their GIS specialists enabled the resolution of issues and communicating the solution to our production team in a timely manner.During the project, additional changes were made to the production method to include the requirements needed for the subdivision files to be certified for implementation in the Positive Train Control (PTC) certification process. Each subdivision must be reviewed, and modified to the standards required by PTC. I oversaw the activities of our development team providing assistance on projects such as RTBI, Track Speed, Trip Optimizer, Dangerous Goods, Calibration, and PTC - ITCWorking with our product development team, I performed testing on our proprietary software products geared to the electric, gas and water industries providing utilities with an integrated approach to the management of their distribution network model infrastructure.

Participated in the structuring of water and sewer networks into a GIS database.Generated thematic maps depicting natural and human variables used in Environmental Impact Assessments for projects such as projected high voltage transmission line’s route, Galipault bridge.Performed daily extraction, integration and manipulation of data from multiple sources to be used in spatial analysis for our customers, mostly municipalities, and provincial companies.

I was the GIS lead and worked on projects involving all aspects of Urban Planning. Some notable contracts include:-Revision of the Land Use Management plan. MRC la Rivière du Nord. Converted, integrated, and analyzed source data. Produced various thematic maps.-Military base real estate management plan, Ministry of National Defense. Created a base plan for building characterization models.-National Capital Commission - Strategic development Plan for the Recreational trail network, Ottawa. Converted existing data into a GIS system (MapInfo), justified trail location using air photo rectification. integrated new, projected and planned trails into the existing trail network.

Provided onsite GIS and technical services for these US Utility Companies (NorthEast Utilities, Berlin, Connecticut. Sierra Pacific Power, Reno, Nevada).Generated a parcel land-base for our US clients in order to capture and display their Distribution Network Model. Analyzed new substation and transmission line location for undeveloped areas for New Business Development. Managed quality technicians engaged to identify data capture and connectivity errors in our US client's Distribution Network Model.

Prince George

Worked onsite at Northwood Pulp and Timber, co-ordinated diverse forestry management planning activities for RPF Mark Sundstrum. Trained and supervised a team of forestry technicians. Worked in isolated areas of Northern British Columbia performing silviculture and inventory studies, and to identify factors that could impede forest development.
