Responsible for developing and Implementing a common Resilience Framework for Critical Infrastructure across 3 Networks, including Emergency, Business Continuity, Disaster, Crisis and Security Management.Highlights• Developed a multi-company resilience framework manual in 7 months which provided the business with compliance to state laws and federal regulations• Conducted a cyber / physical security exercise that included the CEO and Executive Team with Senior Victoria Police Anti-Terror Squad input• Developed 1 hour exercises to test specific critical response items, which reduced the time required for exercises from 6 to 1.5 hours• Coordinated spatial outage data to be streamed to emergency services with other energy industry companies.• Developed and implemented resilience programs for corporate and regulatory risk, involving suppliers and diverse stakeholders. Framework was then implemented into Citipower, Powercor and United Energy in 7 months

Responsible for the Resilience Program, including Emergency, Business Continuity, Disaster, Crisis and Security Management Highlights:• Successfully managed 2 live Crisis Management events involving a volitile gas suppply issue threatening regional customer safety and a fatality involving company liability with frameworks developed under my reign• Developed a comprehensive approach to Business Continuity and trained and exercised Business Recovery Teams • Renewed Resilience suite of documents annually, including legislative changes and learnings from reviews to ensure the system continuously improved and remained compliant with legal or regulatory changes• Engaged multi-disciplinary teams and contractors to have common and aligned response plans to ensure that the business would recover in the shortest possible time • Engaged federal and state agencies in company’s emergency and crisis management resulting in the ability to coordinate functions to reduce community impacts and improve public safety• Trained and made competent Duty Managers and executive in Crisis and Emergency Management testing, training and competence through exercises• Set protocols for escalation including legal, media and agencies• Conducted Business Continuity, Emergency and Crisis Management exercises with Federal Attorney General’s Departments, AEMO, Victoria Police and for United Energy and Multinet Gas• Conducted a study that contributed towards a $28M bottom line turnaround, which analysed regulatory penalties for power outages. This involved the correlation of historical weather and power outages, identifying where the organisation had lost money and we implemented an early warning system. This allowed for contingency plans to be implemented in advance of potential outages and allocated resources to be on standby. This contributed to a $28M turnaround and involved regulation, customer service, engineering, corporate Affairs and IT.

SP Ausnet is an electricity distributor with a $6.3 billion electricity and gas network that provides service to over 1 million customers in Southeast Australia and managing three different energy networks in Victoria: Electricity transmission, Electricity distribution, Gas distributionHighlights:• Renegotiated the gas, electrical transmission and electrical distribution contracts, valued at $220M pa.• Managed all tendering for $220M pa contacts• Demobilized the T Squared alliance (a 10 year agreement terminated)• Mobilized a mix of in-house, and outsourced service provision making 10% unit cost savings

Managed the Tenix/Abigroup/ TXU alliance valued at $200m over 5 years.
