Trellist is a professional services firm delivering performance-driven technology and marketing solutions. Trellist provides project and consulting services that include data based marketing, design, software development and other digital services for clients at the global, national, and regional levels. At Trellist I was responsible for client technology engagements as well as Operations. I also oversaw business development. During my time at Trellist we significantly increased our Technology engagements in size and scope. These included development work in Salesforce, mobile applications and cloud deployments.

Our back office system used Oracle on Linux and was a fully browser based with a data access control layer. TRMI Systems Integration is a small innovative company in the Electronic Toll Collection Market. They have been in business for over 35 years and have created some of the more competitive and long lasting solutions in the industry. Their offerings are targeted at small to midsize agencies with offerings covering everything from cash to AET systems. In addition to offering full system integration solutions they manufacture a number of industry specific devices including treadles, lane controllers, interface cards, and PFDs. During my time at TRMI my work scope included many interesting areas: - Project Management from RFP response through project completion - Project Engineering involving system, hardware, and software design - High reliability engineering of fault tolerant solutions - Establishing the use of VM based clustered systems for high availability - AET design and implementation from the ground upProjects included: - Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel ETC System - LAX GTM System - NYSTA MLT System update - RMA ETC System - Golden Gate Bridge ETC System

For a 16 year period I was fortunate enough to work on numerous interesting projects and do consulting with some great companies. My focus of work was in analog and mixed signal embedded design with microprocessor interfaces. These typically included firmware and software development with a database integration and user interface component. Often there was a project management component to my consulting engagements.Some of the project work I did included: - Numerous board level designs for a Fortune 500 telecom company including analog and digital line cards, and digital primary interfaces. Involved analog and mixed signal design with embedded programming, FPGA development. Designs met ITU, CEPT, Bellcore, FCC, and UL standards. - Reference card designs for a Fortune 100 semiconductor manufacturer for DSP based comm devices, designed to meet UL, FCC, and Bellcore standards - Analog interface for a data/voice PBX with FCC and UL compliance testing - Numerous industrial control board designs which included UL and CE Mark compliance testing - Calibration system to improve process flow with a mix of custom hardware, 3rd party instrumentation, and a Labview user interface. Design elements included: - Designs incorporating Intel and ARM embedded processors - PC based user interfaces in Labview and Visual Basic - Database interfaces to embedded and standard DBMS - High sensitivity, low noise front ends with analog filtering coupled to high and low speed ADCs - Embedded TCP/IP networking - FPGA design with Lattice, Atmel, and Xilinx devices
