I help business clients maximize their insurance assets and recover from responsible parties when facing a loss or potential liability, whether it's a property or business interuption loss, a construction defect or related issue, environmental, toxic tort or legacy liability, product liability, contract dispute, or any other type of loss or liability. In many instances, I ensure that insurers pay for the defense of my clients when sued. Litigation avoidance and problem solving are a big part of my practice. This includes counseling clients during M&A or other transactions when specialized or contingent liabilities are an impediment to deal closure.
