During the 3 years that I was in this role, I led various tracks around current and next-gen Magento design initiatives, conducted user research, testing, engaged the Magento community directly and worked closely with product leaders to define an agile UX process that bridged gaps between business, design, and engineering.

Led efforts at PayPal to drive UX standards across the company’s design organization. Established a team of individuals to help build a pattern framework and work closely with front-end engineers to ensure design standards were carried over to components in PayPal's presentation tier. This involved creating a workflow that allowed a design organization numbering hundreds to be aligned with an engineering organization numbering thousands. All this took place as part of a larger re-architecture of PayPal's presentation tier, reducing effort and costs across design and engineering practices. Along the way, I learned plenty about online payments, regulations, and security.

Shortly after CarAd was acquired by eBay, I was brought on to lead all UX and design efforts for this web application which worked alongside eBay Motors. I worked closely with a team of engineers and product owners to evolve the user experience of CARad, which allowed auto-dealers to manage listings of inventory on eBay through data feeds. The new and improved application was then rolled into eBay Motors as it's dealer services offering.
