John Greenman is an International Commercial Real Estate Advisor providing Cross-Border Investment Services to select Institutional Investors, Family Offices and High Net Worth Individuals in Latin America. He has worked since 1994 in the areas of acquisitions, finance and disposition within commercial real estate, including serving as the Chief Investment Officer for AmeriVest Properties, where he oversaw the acquisition of 15 assets in Denver, Dallas and Phoenix, over half of which were purchased in off-market transactions, representing a total value of $285 million and over 2.3 million square feet.As a Senior Partner with The Sheridan Group he focused on the acquisition of multi-tenant office properties for high-net worth individuals and institutional investors while creating Sheridan International to pursue the acquisition of distressed assets in Mexico.John began his career in banking and over a 15 year time span worked in the areas of Multinational Lending and Capital Markets, and provided Advisory Services to corporate and real estate clients. Early in his career he held an international banking position with Continental Bank in London, gaining important experience advising multinational companies and marketing interest rate hedging products to major financial institutions in Europe. John is proficient in Spanish and Portuguese and has traveled extensively to over 35 countries. His international career began in college with several trips to Brazil, which culminated in a summer fellowship at The Center for Brazilian Studies in Rio de Janeiro during his graduate studies. He has served on numerous boards and charitable foundations in both Denver and Chicago, including the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and the City Club of Denver, of which he is a Past President. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
