I head the spacecraft platform organization at E-Space, responsible for designing and building new satellite bus structures, antennas, thermal products, electronics packaging, mechanisms, and deployables. I am responsible for the engineering design and build of multiple satellites, demonstrating new capabilities and paving the way for a satellite constellation that is designed for manufacturing. We are a vertical organization with a preference for build over buy. In this role I’ve setup multiple satellite mfg and test labs and filled it with a world-class team of designers and engineers. Our team starts with aggressive designs, concepts, and timelines and we work through multiple development builds and analysis to prefect the end product. I run a highly collaborative team where product ownership and DFM is core value. I also head collaboration efforts with outside companies to leverage existing mfg expertise when there is a fit. This work includes scoping tech, drafting agreements, running feasibility studies, and managing the engagements with schedules, cost, planning and manufacturing assessments.

Responsible for the design, build, test, and launch of a new satellite that launched in Q2 2022. Developed a new satellite structure design with multiple deployables and a novel pretensioned multi-satellite dispenser stack. I hired and managed for multiple disciplines in my team including bring on external contractors. I managed the launch contract and deliverables from contract negotiation to launch.
