 Responsible for managing an average of 12 student technicians’ and also ensured quality technical support services were provided to all users.  Provided Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktop, laptop and small devices via phone and on-site.  Handled the creation of user network and email accounts for multiple college departments using the Novell Client system each week. Assigned IP addresses for newly installed PC's and Apple computers daily. Responsible for the hiring and training of new student technician’s ranging from basic professionalism to Tier 1 troubleshooting.

 Managed the upkeep and troubleshooting of PCs and multi-purpose machines including updates of critical patches, tracking notebook PCs, security and theft protection. Liaison for the Interfolio Corporation, the Xerox Corporation and the University Conference Center. Ensured proper functioning of computers, printers, fax machines and copiers including researching for modern upgrades.  Trained new employees on the fundamentals of the university e-mail and calendar, the Novell Client, and the university website.  Coordinated career fairs hosted by the Career Center by maintaining contacts with potential employers and handling inquiries with the GWork online system in preparation for connecting students to local and large business employers.
