During my career I have worked across all sectors and all bond and note structures. I started my career as a Power sector analyst and broadened my experience over the years and became a Generalist. During my years as a Public Finance Banker, I worked across sectors and provided advice to Issuers on ratings, insurance, and investor relations. I worked on many First Time Issuers including the District of Columbia's Income Tax bonds. Other new credits included issuances for Parkland Memorial Hospital, Midland Memorial Hospital, and University Hospital in San Antonio. I worked extensively with all of the Issuers in Puerto Rico during my time in Public Finance.Over the years, I have become well known for my writing and for my speaking engagements. I have given speeches to NAST, NACUBO, CIFA, GFOA and many industry organizations. Writing included many assignments throughout the years but the more recent contributions included the Municipal Weekly and Municipal Daily publications at B of A Merrill Lynch. I was a regular contributor to Credit Week when I was an analyst at S&P.Other industry involvement includes Chairperson of MAGNY, Board Member of NFMA, Treasurer of the Society of Municipal Analysts, and Chairperson of the Credit Research Committee at SIFMA (formerly the PSA).I have managed several groups in different corporate settings.
