RBC is the longest standing sponsor of the Canadian Olympic team. In my role as an RBC Olympian, I had the unique privilege of gaining work experience while pursuing my dream for Olympic excellence. In my role at the regional head office in Ottawa, I worked on various marketing initiatives including RBC Bluesfest and Women's World Hockey Championship. I assisted with event management and organization, and provided motivational speaking and coaching (to groups ranging from 10 to 500), external and internal communication, and sponsorship planning and review of proposals. As a Blue Water Project Ambassador, I was heavily involved in the promotion of the RBC Blue Water Project, which is RBC's ongoing commitment to preserving and protecting our valuable sources of fresh water.
