I lead a team of communicators who help build trust in the BlueCross brand. I developed and implemented strategic communications plans that support BlueCross' enterprise goals. I served as an editor for a team of writers and collaborated with a creative/technical team to first build employee understanding and engagement, then share relevant stories with our customers and communities.• Launched and managed Better Tennessee, a brand journalism platform highlighting BlueCross' charitable community investments• Led creation of an award-winning video to introduce BlueCross' new mission statement to employees and external stakeholders• Piloted and launched a successful employee social media ambassador program

I provided internal clients, including human resources and information services, with effective communications that engage employees and external audiences.• Developed an award-winning series of internal articles, and a series of video interviews with the incoming CEO, that boosted employee awareness and understanding of our new corporate strategy.• Launched and managed an integrated public awareness campaign to help Tennesseans understand rising health care costs.

Responsible for web analytics and user experience design across multiple web sites representing BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and its subsidiaries.

Launched and managed two ecommerce web sites. Launched company's first public blog. Created and implemented blogger outreach initiative to support a major public relations campaign. Developed and implemented new branding/packaging design strategy for flagship product line. Created effective collateral materials to support communications and sales goals.
