I serve as a member of the Contently Executive Board developing the company’s annual strategy and lead the team providing the agency-style services that allow Contently to compete for business and ensure client performance. I manage a staff of 17 employees in four lines of business. I am responsible for ensuring the organization’s services support customers use of the contently platform and in adjacent operations to ensure client success and support renewals and upset opportunities. My team is also responsible for building new service elements to test future areas of development for the Contently software platform.As a senior staffer and the most conversant in content and media, I additionally serve a sales role, representing the full Contently solution as a pre-sales consultant.

I built and managed an agency-like unit within Contently to provide a deeper offering of services required by software clients to be successful and to make the software solution more competitive with full-service agencies. I managed a team of eight in four lines of service, Contently Talent Network, Contently Managing Editors, Contently Distribution, Contently Content Strategy. Each service had it’s own revenue targets, but was primarily focused on ensuring client success and ensuring SaaS renewals. I led sales and account management efforts for all four lines.- $4MM in annual revenue (2015)

I managed customer success across the full suite of contently software and network solutions in order to ensure client performance and strong renewals. I managed a team of two servicing 40+ Fortune 5200 clients including American Express, Deutsch, Hewlett-Packard, HSBC, PNC.- Launched several billable services (Contently Managing Editors, Contently Content Strategy, and Contently Content Distribution) to provide greater client service, improve client performance, and grow customer reliance on Contently software platform.- Expanded Contently Talent Network from 8,000 to 30,000, including the launch of multimedia capabilities (animation, design, photography, video)- Managed transition from a pay-as-you-go model to a subscription (SaaS) model

I built and managed the best and largest network of freelance journalists ever created. I managed training journalists to work with brands, matching them to client work, ensuring quality, and an efficient process. I developed rules of engagement and product features to govern writer recruitment, writer search, submission of work, and payment.- Launched Contently writer network, adding 8,000 professional journalists in the first year by targeted recruiting, sponsorships, events, and enrichment programs- Managed the development of Contently Portfolio Builder, allowing journalists to create robust demonstrations of their work while Contently collected a database of bylines and clips to power Contently’s writer search algorithm- Developed the business rules and directed the product development of the contently writer search algorithm to match available writers to projects by topical experience
