In a digital world criminal typologies are evolving fast, blurring traditional silos between cyber activities, fraud and financial crimes. That’s where this team fitted in. I was accountable for design, operation and solution thought leadership for counter fraud and anti money laundering (AML) prevention within Barclays Business Bank. Provided the overall leadership, strategic direction and management to the effective delivery of counter Fraud and associated AML programmes of work. Owner of the business counter Fraud Strategy ensuring a strategic, efficient and cost effective method for managing fraud risks through the customer, third party and employee lifecycle.

Supported Business Banking with the separation of the Business and Corporate Bank. Point of contact all initiative matters associated with running and building the Business Bank. Managed a variety of data and KPI for the business - specifically risk and operational costs/benefits. Internal strategy and consulting on operational excellence.

I provided Programme Leadership for a cutting-edge and unique transformational programme to the Banking Sector. Encompassing both technical and behavioural aspects, the initiative resulted in significant cultural change in the way that the financial industry is run. Specific Partnership level lead with the Cambridge Judge Business School. This role included business management, model innovation, and redesign responsibility ensuring Barclays led the way in the development of world-class operators by streamlining the delivery of technical, behavioural and experimental development amidst a highly regulated and ever changing environment.
