Course also includes annual visit to New York, visiting DDB, BBH, JWT, 4As, TBWA, Ogilvy PR, 5WPR, GreenTeam. Always looking to work with clients on briefs and pitches, real case-studies, and have guest speakers and workshops from industry. We're the primary course in Scotland for Social Media, using it as an integral part of learning and teaching - hashtag #adprstudents on Twitter.* Feature in the 'Top 100 Marketing Professors on Twitter'. * Nominated as 'Communicator of the Year' in the 2013 CIPR PRide Awards.* Feature in the book '8 Mandates for Social Media Marketing Success' by Kent Huffman* One of my students, Jennifer McGregor won Best Student Business at the 2013 Herald Digital Business Awards in Glasgow.

Managed budgets for stationery, travel, and other staff costs.  Improved individual course KPIs in department to best in college and attained 100% retention rate in advertising course three years running. Organised and led students on educational study visits to advertising and PR agencies in London and annually to New York. Led Procurement Lecturing Team to International Award at CIPS Awards in2013, with one student winning Digital Student of the Year.  Enriched instruction through experiential learning, arranged internship experiences for full HND Year 2 group with multiple placements for additional students, including graduation into employment. Nominated by CIPR Scotland PRide Awards for Outstanding Contributions, 2013, served at keynote speaker at annual conference. Ranked in Top 40 of “100 Top Marketing Professors on Twitter,” first in UK on global list.

A year after graduating from Glasgow Uni, I set up Scotland's foremost contemporary art gallery and remain as director of the company.
