Successful examples include: grow market share in a different market due to exit of another product(Ormet Corp - Rolling mill), revenue growth in down market with product mix change to “best” products(JW Aluminum), change channels to market(Ormet Corp - Blanking division), or new business development(Noranda Aluminum).This directly engaged, hands on leadership philosophy keeps me actively connected to my teammates, the customers, the shifting market as well as with family, friends, and the multiple communities with whom I am involved. I am inspired by leaders who display these keys in critical situations.
