I started working with computers through my uncle who has been dealing with them his entire life. I was flying through elementary school Social Studies using all the vocab i learned from playing the first Age of Empires.Video Games are my passion, and they led me to building and configuring my own PCs. I'm not an Engineer by any means, but more of a hardware enthusiast.I needed to get away from Retail.. So i started volunteering for nearby IT Jobs and ended up helping my local IT person who worked for Putnam County Schools at the time. I helped him configure roaming profiles and logon script troubleshooting. Every student in the county needed their own documents folder and logon name. There were also general troubleshooting i helped with (Wifi, Desktops, Computer Labs).. It was a great experience.Getting this Job at GRU has greatly helped me understand computers/operating systems. It is also a great first step in my long career as an IT Professional.
