A series of reports with recommendations were delivered to NACEPT at the conclusion of the subcommittee's activities and subsequently by NACEPT to EPA.

The Air Quality Management Work Group was formed by US EPA's Clean Air Act Advisory Committee in 2004 to evaluate and make recommendations on potential improvements to the structure and function of local, state, and federal air quality management under the federal Clean Air Act. A report was delivered to CAAAC as the primary product of this effort in 2005. Subsequently, CAAAC formed an Air Quality Management Subcommittee that operated from 2005 to 2007 and continued efforts started by the Work Group. Further recommendations were provided to CAAAC in 2007. CAAAC provided a final report on this work to EPA in 2009. Wrote a statewide earthquake response plan. Managed site characterization and remediation at dozens of interstate and intrastate natural gas compressor stations to address surface water, sediment, and soil contamination from PCBs and other contaminants. Served on the Environmental Crimes Work Group. Wrote and approved draft agreed orders and other violation settlement documents. Developed standard operating procedures. Contributed to Water Management Plan.
