I have worn so many hats in my career, I could open a Lids franchise.I am not a sound bite and cannot easily sum up my experience and capabilities in a simple, summary header. Some define their career with a straight line: pick an industry, find a niche, stay in your lane and ride it out to the gold watch. I am not that person. My career has been more of an exploration of angles. Fortunately, most have been drawn at 45 degrees or greater.I have worked in five industries on two continents. I have done just about everything one can do in corporate finance. I have held leadership roles in investor relations, strategy and operations – twice in the C-suite. I have been a management consultant. I have started companies, advised founders and made angel investments. While this limits my reach as a “subject matter expert” in a single silo, I can do more than most. Or at least I am willing to try harder to figure it out, learn and adapt. I have become the Renaissance man my liberal arts education prepared me to be.I am a creative problem-solver. An experienced executive. An entrepreneur. A multi-dimensional, non-linear thinker. A helper. A prolific purveyor of sarcasm and wit. A leader. A juggler of multiple tasks. A volunteer. A creator of opportunity. A team player. A husband and father.Let’s work together to add a few new things to the list. I’m ready; are you?
