Served as Organization Technical Lead and “domain architect” for Merchant Identity & Experience org, leading technical aspects of problem- and solution-discovery. Served on Technical Leadership Team, setting direction and helping establish and improve an architecture review process. Coached and supported new technical leads on presenting designs for review and consensus-building. Ran “Product BTU,” a training series for new members of Product Engineering teams, including leading “How We Write Great Software.” Managed a seven-person team providing shared analytics data services and Airflow-based data ingestion, ETL, and reporting products. Mentored engineers on software design principles and patterns.

Built trader-facing web-based applications, mostly in Clojure.

Accepted Java back into my life, with JRuby to help me through the dark times. Just barely introduced Clojure to my day-job.
