As a Principal, John’s responsibilities include the following:Developing business (pre-sales and sales):- Identify and manage potential opportunities with new prospects and existing clients- Collaborating with the Sales team to win and close new client business and leads new business development activities as needed- Designing the approach and scope of potential projects- Determining effort and estimate project costs- Creating proposals, leading presentations and clarifying responses- Providing leadership on teaming arrangements with other vendors and consultants- Balance business and legal risks by working with legal teams to finalize contracts and statements of workDelivering solutions and client initiatives (client delivery):- Overseeing a portfolio of client initiatives, balancing priorities and risks- Ultimately responsible for client satisfaction and meeting objectives- Build executive relationships and be the engagement leader on large, complex engagements- Working with the project manager and team members to ensure quality work and deliverables- Scheduling and balancing staff and other resources across multiple projectsCreating new solutions and developing staff:- Developing and growing go-to-market solutions- Establishing methodologies and approaches for delivering solutions- Using research and development resources to enhance solutions- Collaborating with Marketing to develop market awareness of solutions (speak at conferences and webinars, create brochures and white-papers, determine target audiences)
