This was my first venture as a business owner/ Partner. I was instrumental in developing this business from £0 to £2.5m and up to 22 staff in six years.

I ran the service department for a family run office equipment company, based in Cheadle, who specialised in short run digital colour printing machines. We served advertising agencies and print shops (short run digital runs) and also Schools.

Cheadle

I joined Danka's north west "Colour Team" we supported the Canon CLC range , this was a time when a colour copier would cost over £20,000 . we looked after advertising agencies and print shops . Shortly before leaving I was service engineer of the year 1997/8!

Rawtenstall

I was trained on the very first Canon colour copier The CLC 1 , also worked on the first Fiery products (EFI). we serviced several manufacturers , including Sharp Canon and Toshiba .

Lever Street Bolton

After leaving school at 16 I started my working life here fixing typewriters! I was on the Youth Training Scheme and did a day release course at Manchester road college on electrical / electronic engineering (Btec)
