More than 25 years’ humanitarian and development experience, focusing on disaster and climate risk reduction including resilient recovery. 

I provide oversight, advice and guidance to multilateral actors. I have a deep understanding of the multilateral system, including the DEVCO, ECHO, UNDP, UNDRR, UNICEF, Red Cross, GIZ, GFDRR and INGOs. I also consult with organisations supporting National and Local Governments develop policies and strategies including for disaster and climate risk. 

My experience is global, including long term professional experience in Africa (1994-now), Asia (2002-now).
 and Europe (2011-now).Since 2007, I have completed over 55 evaluations, studies, reviews and researches, engaging a broad range of stakeholders. With this experience comes a significant understanding of current trends, an established network and track record of producing high-quality research and reports. 

I have published research in the ESCAP-ISDR Asia Pacific Disasters Report as well as Global Assessment Reports.

I have two masters degree’s in civil, structural and environmental engineering (MSc), and business administration (MBA).
