I am a doctoral student at the Department of Statistics and Applied Probability at UC Santa Barbara. My research interests are orientated towards machine learning, computational statistics, algorithmic trading, mathematical finance and stochastic processes with specific interest in modelling high-dimensional stochastic processes and the applications of machine learning in portfolio construction, risk modelling, and returns forecasting.I completed my undergraduate studies at Lancaster University in the UK, obtaining a first-class BSc in Mathematics with Statistics in 2018 before returning to obtain a distinction MSc in Quantitative Finance in 2021, graduating summa cum laude. Upon the completion of my studies at Lancaster University I commenced work as a part-time research assistant at Lancaster University under the supervision of Prof. George Wang, working on a project investigating the application of Kalman Filtration to produce estimates for the natural interest rates of world economies.Further information regarding my academic background and project work can be found on my personal website (linked above) as well as in my profile information.
