ONR ManTech Principal Investigator: Lead two ONR Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) tasks in the area of composites and treatments. Developed multiple SOWs, facilitated meeting with multiple customers and organized testing. Managed spending/resources for EB and established multiple P.O.s and ISAs for subcontractors.Design for Affordability: Developed business case for reducing total ownership and life-cycle costs, totaling $12M, by evaluating optimized material placement while maintaining system performance. Issued recommendation and presented findings to PMS397; currently in the process of obtaining approval for a design change.

Production Ship Modeling: Organized & managed group to develop full ship modular FEA model to support performance studies. Served as a technical mentor to new personnel in the areas of FEA modeling/analysis, coatings/treatments and company/dept. policies.Material R&D: Conducted numerical modeling and simulations related to material applications for optimizing system performance. Document significant findings as part of multiple calculation packages and presented department technical lectures.Design for Affordability: Evaluated material application for reducing total ownership and life-cycle costs while maintaining system performance. Issued recommendation documenting cost reduction efforts.IR&D/CONFORM: Performed multiple analyses on various ship hull concepts. Documented work in yearly IR&D report and presented significant findings as part of a department technical lecture. Current work was part of company’s submittal into the 2015 Submarine Technology Symposium. Earned Value Management System: Organized & managed departments task tracking for engineering tasks under multiple Navy contracts. Tracked and controlled task spending.
