Led a group of over sixty students in carrying out the organization’s mission statement of “students helping students” by raising money for student scholarships. Tasks included directing meetings; setting fundraising goals; overseeing the annual Tiger Tunes musical production, which was the largest fundraiser with over 4,500 people attending; and empowering members with the idea of servant leadership.Key Achievements:• Targeted and surpassed a goal of raising the largest amount of scholarship money in the organization’s history, $100,000. This translated to an increase of over 16% in overall fundraising from the previous year.• Piloted a subcommittee that conducted an internal review to redevelop new member recruitment process, identify new opportunities to increase fundraising, and revise executive leadership responsibilities to make the organization more efficient.

Guided a group of forty senators in weekly meetings, sought to strengthen the relationship between University administration and students, served on a wide range of committees, and delivered quarterly updates to the Board of Trustees.Key Achievements:• In order to increase students’ input in campus decisions, advocated for and was successful in having a policy change that allowed students serving on various University committees to be a voting member.• Selected by the University President to serve on the Strategic Planning Committee to assist in targeting future projects and responding to recommendations from the High Learning Commission's accreditation visit.• Redeveloped election procedures and raised awareness on the importance of participation in student government elections, which led to a 60% increase in voter turnout in less than a year.
