Starting initially as a contractor I took the product from a basic, externally built MVP to a scalable, commercially viable product. As the first technical hire, I assumed responsibility for every facet of the product from development through to infrastructure and DevOps. The product was transformed under my guidance and is now robust and feature rich. I inherited a broad tech stack with microservices spanning Python, Node.js and ASP.NET Core with a React + Typescript front-end. Over time the platform has been extended and refactored to be more consistent in terms of technology. After leaving Technically Compatible I completed several projects on a contract basis as well as serve as a fractional CTO at both my former and future employer. The projects ranged from a front-end focussed digital transformation project to extending a SaaS assessment tool with new functionality.
