This work has related to residential, commercial, institutional, and transit-oriented/mixed-use developments and has included analyses and preparation of reports in support of re-zonings and site plans. I have prepared traffic and parking studies for regional shopping malls, outlet centers, entertainment centers, warehouse stores, and local shopping centers throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area and numerous other states. These studies have included access design, parking layout, traffic signal warrant studies, signage plans, transit bus routing, transit stop design, loading access, shared parking studies, and parking location and design. I have also conducted numerous shared-use parking studies for major mixed-use developments. The intent of these studies was typically to estimate the parking needs for mixed-use development projects, town centers, downtown areas, and shopping centers with cinemas in order to present a case for modifications to parking requirements of specific municipalities.For numerous residential projects in various municipalities, I have prepared and managed the preparation of traffic analyses, parking studies, conceptual and final design of internal roadways, intersection improvement planning, phasing plans, and transportation demand management plans. I have participated in the development and evaluation of master plans for mixed-use town centers, school campuses, and downtowns. These have included vehicular, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit planning traffic operations plans. -
