• Resolve database related incidents and requests in areas of Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cost of Goods, Contracts, GL and Logistics.• Automate COGs Processes.• Business-facing expert, with a service-oriented mentality and high sense of ownership, providing hands-on operational/production database services, including design, development, implementation and support.

• • Partnered with the Microsoft Services Data Insights Senior Consultants to bring the ESD NGTS database into accordance with Microsoft T-SQL Pattern and Practice Requirements (TSPR). This implementation made the databases more scalable, efficiently using indexes, and ready for upgrading to the next version of MSSQL.• Cleaned up Database code and logic as taken from the Main Frame Environment to the MS SQL Server Environment. Key processes are now running in 1/3 the time. • Created SQL Code required for the Data Warehouse Team to create SSRS Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, State and Federal Reports as pulled from the new Unemployment Tax and Benefits (UTAB) System and Next Generation Tax System (NGTS) Environments.

• Microsoft drives their sales of Products and Services through incentives to their Partner Networks. Wrote parts of the Database Queries and Objects used to Calculate the Payback Incentives offered Microsoft’s Resellers and Distributors. Specifically, regarding making the Microsoft Reporting Analytics (MSRA) and Incentive Calculation Engine (ICE) Payback Tool configurable. • Coordinated between Microsoft and Off-Shore Team to insure on-time, desired delivery of products.• Responsible for Daily Agile Scrum Calls and Triage. Also, provided deliverables, reports, etc., required during PST hours.• Delved into creating Power BI Reports.

• Create and maintain SSIS Packages interacting with the various Multiple Listing Services (MLS) pulling data for the Agents and On-Line Application and Website.• Troubleshoot and clean (ETL) data received from various MLS and Partners.• Design MSSQL Database schema and objects for the new JLSNext Web/App Project.

Data Quality Audit - Wrote complex SQL (using both MS SQL Server Management Studio and Teradata SQL Assistant) to identify and apply business rules to reconcile point-in-time total outstanding financed amounts. Perform data analysis activities and explain perceived and actual gaps to business, accounting, and technical stakeholders. Validated actual system behavior, confirm business and system rules with developers, accounting, and business stakeholders to drive consensus on whether actual behavior is desired and accurate behavior, or whether system changes are needed to align actual with desired system behavior.Additional -- Using SQL Server and Teradata, in a single month found and validated reconciliation issues building on what the previous team had been working on for over six months.

• Commissioned to develop and modernize the database for a well-known Kirkland/Medina WA Estate. This DB is the heart and brains controlling all temperature, hardware, amenities, and security systems in this home. Finished this three month project in one month.• Passed a grueling security interview to get this assignment.

• Stuck Orders and Renewal Process Specialist -- Discover and fix SQL system issues preventing domain registration and product orders from processing. Before I revised the code, we had 30 to 50 domain orders fail on a daily basis. Making these fixes more than paid for my paycheck.• New TLD System Email Developer -- Create MSSQL Stored Procedures to send out emails notifying customers/partners of domain award status. Also notifications to resellers of upcoming new TLDs, etc. This was a critical piece in converting our potential customers thru constant automated notification and follow-up.

• Created the Customer Billing System & Client Reporting Tracking Process (SQL) driving the MAS 500 Billing Servers.• Provided Ad-hoc Billing/Financial Reports/Analysis.• Provided Tier II technical support to the Production Team.• Provided Ad hoc technical support and reporting using MSSQL SSIS, database scripts, etc.Additional:Took the then Monthly Billing Process which consisted of one person (me) running a script and importing and massaging the data in Excel and turned it into a full blown billing tracking system allowing for up to the minute reports and analysis; literally saving the company millions of dollars by being able to use this process to estimate contract proposal profits and by being able to analyze and red flag contracts before profits were lost. When I started this process we had 4 customers, when I left we had 1539 customers and it would not have been possible for one person to perform these tasks manually, let alone give up-to-the-minute fiscal insights.
