Who I amI am a chartered accountant, trained at Pricewaterhouse Cooper, one of the world’s leading professional services firms. My diligence and natural aptitude for audit across a diverse range of clients allowed me to gain a detailed insight into business and financial management within many sectors. Audit also led me to gain an ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with both clients and my peers, leading me to seek fresh challenges where I could effectively use these skills.Post qualification I moved into the private sector where I was able to grow into a Business Controller role giving me financial oversight of a manufacturing subsidiary and then an electrical services company. These roles allowed me to utilise not only my analytical skills and core accounting competencies, but also to influence the strategic direction of the companies and become a key part of the senior management team.Relocating to Devon gave me the opportunity to seize a new challenge at Oxygen House as the financial controller, a role which has allowed me to apply my wide expertise to supporting the varied needs of a diverse portfolio.
