As Senior Network Admin I am responsible for all the desktops, servers, network and phone system. We currently utilize WinXP connecting through Dell Switches to Dell/HP servers running mostly Win 2003 . We have a Avaya Definity phone system and a Cisco PIX firewall.Accomplishments:Migrate over 80 Computer from 95/98 to newer machines with XP.Exchange 5.5 to 2003 MigrationNT to AD2003 Migration

Supervising a Group of 2-5 techs I was able to reduce call time improve customer satisfaction. With a dual role of Senior Tech I was involved directly with the RnD of the computers we built and the software loaded. I created master images for the machines and designed the Recovery system that would estimate a savings of 110K yearly in labor cost and 800K yearly in software cost.

My duties as a Level 2 Helpdesk Support Rep was to answer helpdesk calls. RND new software packages. RND all Laptops and other hardware to be purchased. Act as a Team lead for level 1 techs. At VHA we followed strict policies for Change management. Some of the projects completed during my time there are as follows.IE6 RolloutUpgrade to Groupwise 5.5 from 4.xToken Ring to Ethernet MigrationCompany move of Aprox 350 Employees to another building.

Stream was a company full of computer techs that performed Technical support for many large software and hardware companies. I worked my way up from a phone rep to internal support tech in under 9 months. Internal support consisted of User administration; email administration and pc support for aprox 1600 reps. The network consisted of Windows for Work group 3.51, CC Mail and windows 95 machines.
