Teach three different courses in the MBA program. One is a "Current Topics in IT" a business-focused review of the history of IT, key technology concepts, and how those concepts are applied in companies. The main theme of the course is that business and IT are inextricably linked -- that technology is there in service of the business. The course is a mix of lecture, hands-on activities, multimedia and outside research. The second, new in 2014, is a class on entrepreneurship allowing MBA students to pitch and ultimately develop their business ideas. The third course is "Legal and Ethical Foundations in Business." This is a mix of corporate social responsibility and business law. The course follows the adventures of three fictional people who find themselves in all manner of tricky legal and ethical situations. We cover US law including contracts, UCC, torts, and intellectual property.
