I am a leading Hatch-Waxman patent litigator who has more than 25 years experience representing innovative pharmaceutical companies. I have also represented various plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property cases involving diverse technologies ranging from computer equipment and peripheries to consumer goods and medical devices. Some of the clients I have worked with include Bic Corporation, Fenwal Blood Technologies, King Pharmaceuticals, Mundipharma, Purdue Pharma L.P., and Schweitzer-Mauduit International.I have acted as trial counsel before several of the federal district and appellate courts including the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Over the last twenty years, I have acted as legal trial counsel for Purdue Pharma L.P. on their blockbuster OxyContin® and Butrans® products. This representation has involved at least 20 district court actions and various appearances in the USPTO and the Federal Circuit. I am also involved in developing individual and corporate intellectual property strategies, including prosecution, licensing, and enforcement strategies involving all forms of intellectual property. I am a member of the American Bar Association and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association. I am an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, where I teach a course in patent litigation, and have authored and participated in numerous articles and CLE programs addressing intellectual property law. I am a member of the Fordham University President’s Council, the Fordham University Parent Leadership Council, a board member on the Fordham Law School Alumni Association, and a board member on the Feerick Institute of Social Justice.
