As a technology lead during a critical product pivot, I established best practices that accelerated development and ensured quality and a consistent and professional look across the enterprise application suite. My efforts centered on team efficiency and the delivery of modern technology systems.

Evaluated and adopted modern technology to enhance data sharing and visibility in drug discovery operations across multiple research labs. Led the development and maintenance of custom competitive intelligence software and databases, significantly driving innovation and operational efficiency in research processes.

I took a proactive approach to solving the pressing issue of urban congestion. Recognizing the potential of electric vehicles (EVs) in creating a sustainable future, I invested in an EV specifically for use for commuter transit. I built a user-friendly mobile app that seamlessly matches riders with drivers.I worked on business models to ensure scalability and overcome challenges. The prototype was vetted through commuter interaction and business plan pitches at multiple platforms, notably the WPI Venture Forum.While this was a side venture, it proved substantial enough to move beyond the prototype stage and serve a limited commuter base. Although operational and personal complexities led to a hiatus from this endeavor, the market need remains evergreen. I intend to revisit and refine this model, leveraging learnings from the initial phase to create a solution that's not just viable but highly sought after.

I addressed significant challenges in scientific data storage and management, particularly the widespread use of Excel files due to its user-friendly nature. Using Excel files led many labs and departments into complications, including duplicated files, data loss, data integrity issues, and restricted accessibility. After extensive collaboration with labs and researchers over several years, I engineered a comprehensive solution capable of ingesting and integrating Excel files into an organization's centralized databases for efficient management, backup, and intercompany sharing.The solution was a full-stack data ingestion framework with a rich user interface that mimics the functionality of in-browser spreadsheets and provides concise data visualizations via integrated charting features.My funding and time were limited due to my lack of understanding of the business development process and funding options, leading me to focus on consulting opportunities rather than growing and scaling the products.

Developed and maintained intranet applications and scientific software solutions for the Discovery Technology Center and later the Research Technology Center.

As a technology lead, I specialized in advanced techniques to develop and optimize critical Trading Floor applications for the paper industry. These applications supported companies, such as the Kraft Group, in buying and selling raw materials and end products, laying the groundwork for modern web technologies that followed.

In my first role as a technology lead on web applications, reporting directly to the CTO, I spearheaded the development of B2B and B2C software-as-a-service web apps supporting e-commerce and financial transactions for online retailers. This experience involved building secure systems that handled complex financial operations for customers and integrating with the back office systems, marking a significant milestone in my career in a leadership role. I continually researched and implemented technology solutions.
