BOD Tech was an owner-operator of tech-enabled businesses in Myanmar, including the country's largest logistics company, food delivery platform, bus ticketing platform, ride-hailing platform, online travel agency (OTA), B2B wallet, fintech data platform, as well as the country's first online edtech company and e-commerce platform. After the country's military coup d'etat on Feb 1, 2021, I remained as CEO until social and political conditions made it untenable to remain. Outside of Myanmar, BOD Tech still retains a few minority investments in neighboring countries.I was CEO from Feb 2019 to Jul 2021.Before that, I was a Board Director from Sep 2017 to Feb 2019.

I reported to the Chief Strategy Officer of Telenor Digital Businesses, which acquired or invested in tech companies in Asia, the Nordics, and the United States. I held senior positions in corporate development, venture capital, and special projects & partnerships.Telenor was the 1st or 2nd largest telecom operator in 8 countries, with 174 million total subscribers in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Thailand, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark (at the time of departure).Projects that I worked on included:(1) prototyping and piloting Shoparu (an e-commerce pilot in Bangladesh) in 2018;(2) Telenor's divestiture of Telenor Banka (Serbia's first / only digital bank) to PPF Group, a private investment group in Central and Eastern Europe in 2018; (3) Telenor's carve-out of Easypaisa (Pakistan's largest digital wallet) to Ant Financial in 2018;(4) Prototyping a major logistics company spin-off in Myanmar in 2018;(5) Prototyping and piloting Line Mobile (an MVNO, or Mobile Virtual Network Operator) in Thailand in 2017;(6) Negotiating a digital banking partnership in Thailand in 2017.

Served as an Independent Director for Hong Kong Esports (HKES) as it underwent a period of restructuring, separating its Esports team from its media platform and operations.HKES was the first team from Hong Kong to qualify for the League of Legends World Championships in 2017 and received its Series A funding from Autobot Capital, a VC firm based in Beijing.

Drove the ideation, presentation, and creation of Sesame Street-branded pre-schools and after-schools in Southeast Asia to the CEO, COO, and CFO of Sesame Street (a non-profit organization). By re-fashioning Sesame Street's 960+ hours of archival footage, we proposed the creation of fun, memorable, innovative and low-cost curricula in science, math, english, and emotional awareness for children in Asia.We worked on a full-time basis, culminating in the expansion of Sesame Street-branded schools in the region.
