👋🏽 Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I think now is a good time to tell you a little about myself. I was born to Mexican parents in Los Angeles, California, and had a wonderful upbringing road-tripping to Mexico over the summers. Little did I know that these experiences and memories full of adventure, curiosity, and culture would lead me to study sociology & psychology and live in many cities and countries over the years. These are qualities I bring into my work to this day.After college, I still didn't know what path to take, so I went back to Barcelona, Spain, to work for the Spanish Ministry of Education for 2 years. It was the time of my life. This period sparked my interest in public service and would become the doorway to the next decade of working in the social impact space. I returned to Los Angeles and landed my first nonprofit job at CoachArt, an organization providing arts & athletic lessons to chronically ill children. It was here that I first began to tinker with the back end of Salesforce and became an accidental admin. This moment started my path to becoming a tech wizard in the nonprofit space.Fast-forward to San Francisco, where I was brought in by the San Francisco SPCA to implement, integrate, and manage their Salesforce and other systems. But something unexpected happened. In my first week, the VP of Marketing & Communications asked me to sit in on her marketing meeting to observe. I thought, "This is nice. She wants me to meet new people, and this is a one-time thing." But it wasn't. From that moment, I became a part of the marketing team, and within the year, I managed their tech and collaborated with the team on all things marketing, puppies, and kittens - content jackpot!You see, all of this culminated in my passion for branding & marketing and my ability to understand and integrate the tools and systems needed to be successful in our modern digital world. Like many in the nonprofit space, I wear many hats, and I believe my breadth of skills is an asset to the level of work I do.
