On July 1, 2024, John will begin his tenure as head of school for Lexington Christian Academy (lca.edu) in Lexington, MA. As a school leader at Village Christian School and Woodcrest School, both in LA, John and his teams were at the forefront of providing students and families with cutting-edge resources, highly qualified, loving faculty and experiences outside the classroom to prepare them for the next phases of their educations. John has provided invaluable strategic guidance to his boards and leadership teams and outreach and support to all stakeholders -- students, family, faculty and staff, board, alumni, donors and prospective families -- to create meaningful connections that support students and help drive the mission of the schools he serves.,Prior to his calling into Education, John built and led exceptional teams at companies like Yahoo, Quantum Loyalty Systems (acquired by Fandango) and Grey Global Group/Warner Bros. to deliver innovative marketing solutions and game-changing partnership opportunities. At Yahoo and Quantum, he shepherded the largest deals in company history, to date. John started his career in Operations, and then Marketing, for the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference.John’s teaching experience includes elementary, secondary and higher ed at schools like Newbury College in Boston, Emerson College in Los Angeles, the International Diplomacy Institute in Los Angeles, and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.John has an M.A. from Emerson College and a B.A. from Brandeis University. A native of Boston, he now resides in Los Angeles with his wife of 24 years, Carrie, and his son, George, a proud member of the University of Illinois Fighting Illini and a devoted Boston Red Sox fan, like his dad.
