With over 20 years experience in the Information Technology industry as a municipal IT Director, service provider, field technician and subcontractor, John has always strived to perform the best job possible for clients and end users. This has helped him achieve consistent 5 star ratings through multiple contracting platforms, and becoming a person trusted to complete critical projects. During the covid pandemic, John started a new venture, CyberSignal Technologies Inc, with a longtime area business owner. This new venture has provided IT services with federal procurement and government contracting opportunities. The company specializes in VoIP phone solutions, computer data and networking services.This consistent level of success has lead him to become the Director of Information Technology for the historic city of Selma, Alabama. Accomplishments include building a new updated city website, Downtown Wi-Fi Initiative, and city-wide government desktop replacement project. In 2023, John started DataLinx Technology LLC, a leading service provider of outsourced IT project management and field services. John is very proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He is an Iraq war disabled veteran, and will continue serving America now as a service-disabled veteran owned business (SDVOSB).
