Engineering Deans Canada is a pan-Canadian organization of the deans (or equivalent) of faculties and schools of engineering and applied science at Canadian universities and colleges that offer undergraduate engineering programs accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB). Its objectives are:• To provide engineering education that satisfies CEAB requirements, ensures awareness and knowledge of the engineering profession, and promotes the benefits of professional licensure.• To promote and encourage excellence in engineering education and research; to be the voice of engineering education and research at the national level.• To provide a forum for Canadian engineering educators to debate issues and share experiences that foster excellence in engineering education and research.• To advocate, as the collective voice of all engineering faculties and schools in Canada, for a shared vision, and for the good of Canadian engineering education and research.• To promote and direct fundamental and applied engineering research and encourage and assist in the bringing to market of innovative solutions.• To promote academic engineering research and disseminate the contributions in the advancement of knowledge and technologies to industry, government, and the general public.• To educate international undergraduate and graduate students; to support and provide venues for international researchers in Canada, and to assist in the integration of foreign educated and trained engineers into the engineering profession.

The Canadian Society of Senior Engineers is a registered charitable, not-for-profit, organization, whose aim is to maximize the well-being of all Canadians.The organization is involved in many benevolent and social activities, including:• Assisting in the broad field of engineering education for youth who are preparing to enter university• Providing financial support to student projects in the field of engineering or science• Encouraging and facilitating communications between members of the engineering and science fraternity who are senior in age or experience• Publishing a newsletter periodically (5-9 per year)• Maintaining an active role in expressing learned opinions• Contributing to awareness of the history of Engineering in Canada

APEGS is the provincial organization responsible for licensing Professional Engineers and Professional Geoscientists in Saskatchewan.Conducting preliminary academic reviews of foreign-trained applicants, specifically detailed reviews of the courses taken by an applicant and comparison of the learning objectives to the relevant Canadian syllabus for registration as an Engineer-in-Training with APEGS.

The Transportation Association of Canada is a not-for-profit, membership-based association that provides a neutral forum to exchange ideas and information on technical guidelines and best practices related to the Canadian transportation and roadways sectors.Council Management• Provide technical and administrative guidance to the Chief Engineers’ Council, Urban Transportation Council, Environment Council and Multi-Modal Council.
