Responsible for the day to day maintenance of shelter assets. Ensure animals are properly inprocessed into the shelter. Check animals for potential health problems and diseases. Administer medications and vaccines. Assist with customer service. Ensure all animals are provided with a clean and secure facility where they can be returned to their owners following an impound, or adopted to new owners.

Supervise over 50 Military Police patrols daily on Fort Bragg NC, serving a daily population of over 100,000 Soldiers, Civilians and their family members. Provide excellent customer service to the Fort Bragg community answering questions, assisting with Police report acquisition, filing of Police reports, and assist in the dispatching of Police patrols to emergencies. Utilize multiple specialized and open source computerized assets to assist Military Police and surrounding Law Enforcement agencies identify Soldiers involved in criminal activity, local background checks and criminal history checks. Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control over all Police products produced daily. Serves as subject matter expert on the Uniform Code of Military Justice, United States Criminal Code, and North Carolina General Statues, ensuring that Criminal suspects are properly titled and charged, based on sufficient probable cause, as detailed in published charge specifications. Produce the daily Military Police Journal and Military Police Blotter, and ensure the end product, which is distributed to every Senior Commander on Fort Bragg NC, is without clerical error and is factually accurate. Supervise the detention and release of suspects, and confined personnel. Operate the EC/IR II, Breath testing instrument In Accordance With North Carolina Dept. of Health and Human Services regulations. Testify at Criminal trials, and administrative proceedings as a witness for the U.S. Govt and State of North Carolina. Train newly assigned Desk Sergeants, Assistant Desk Sergeants and Cumberland County Detention Center Military Police Liaisons on all aspects of duty performance, and requirements, ensuring all personnel are proficient in required tasks prior to assuming unsupervised duties. Responsible for accountability, maintenance, and proper utilization of a fleet of 100 Military Police Patrol Vehicles, 2-way Radios, and temporarily issued equipment.
