A born & raised Bay Area native, he divides his off-project time between the USA and France, where he holds an 'artist visa’ granted by the French government. He taught graduate level Art for 5 years and worked 10 years in the corporate world. He has achieved over 20 funded 'artist in residencies' at institutions internationally from Cambodia to Colorado, I 20 years of consecutive professional exhibitions including over 23 solo exhibitions and collaborates with both non-profits and ultra-luxury hotels, from Missouri to Maldives.

Independently responsible for fabricating high quality sculptures for the mid-career, established, and accomplished artist, Al Farrow, in addition to restoration of Blue Chip Art Works in famous collections. The resultant high degree of craftsmanship employed required a solid skill base in metal fabrication in addition to a wide range of mixed media techniques (fiberglass, resin, woodwork, etc). Successful Fabrication is evidenced by the continuing inclusion of Farrow's work in several major collections, public & private, from New York, to Washington DC, to the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. Wonderland, a site-specific installation and exhibition of 16 collaborative projects in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood coordinated lasting political partnerships with the San Francisco Mayor's Office, the San Francisco Arts Commission, the North of Market Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, and local professional galleries. Coordinating the extensive press coverage included local and international print (Herald, SF Chronicle, SF Examiner) and local Television Coverage was the credit of the Project Director in addition to coordinating intense and complex logistics between multiple parties (artistic, logistical, political and otherwise) in a high pace environment. The Project Director also coordinated other Fung Collaboratives high caliber large-scale international art exhibitions in Dubai, Switzerland, Sicily, Bahamas, and in San Francisco.

As the sole long-term American resident assistant faculty, position was particularly responsible with providing continuity advice concerning pedagogy. Duties involved: participating and preparing for weekly seminars, attending weekly faculty meetings, lectures, critiques, and advising as an alumni of the Post Bac program as to academic direction. The position greatly depended on an adaptable skill set including conceptual, technical, and/or logistical advice towards realization of student work. Other responsibilities included: curating/placing group expositions; designing exhibition posters and invitations; maintenance responsibilities of facilities; teaching workshops, demonstrations, and technical advice in the printmaking and sculpture studios; installing and maintaining a wireless network of computers, printers, and peripherals; and other duties indicative to a 15 week intensive abroad art program.
