Value of my responsibility: $7.4M.My scope of work was completed 20.5% under budget and 6 months ahead of schedule.Led a team, consisting of two Superintendents, two Field Engineers, and up to twenty Union Electricians, that collectively:• coordinated with the General Contractor, other Subcontractors, and Quality Control;• generated a 180 day schedule, 4 week schedule, and a daily plan that met the schedule, beat budget, was safe (including full access to the work), and complied with all codes and specifications;• procured all materials, tools, equipment and specialty services needed to successfully execute the plan, via Purchase Orders, Material Contracts, Professional Service Agreements, Subcontracts, and Change Orders;• ensured all plans were approved, material was approved, tools were calibrated, equipment was inspected, subcontractors were coordinated, all company policies were followed, and everyone understood the plan;• documented and reported daily progress, including description of the work, quantities installed, man-hours used, budget gain/loss, and all accompanying reports (safety reports, quality checklists, test reports, torque reports, permits, T&M sheets, etc.);• tracked and claimed material and labor quantities for internal payroll, invoicing, and forecasting;• reviewed/approved subcontract invoices and change orders;• performed operation shutdowns and created field operation reports to document lessons learned for the estimating department and superintendents building similar work in the future.
