After more than a decade working in the thick of the beautiful mess that is product development, I'm grateful to be able to say I've never enjoyed it more. Government institutions, financial behemoths, family-owned corporations, venture-backed startups, my own bootstrapped startup---the setting has changed, but the satisfaction I get from building products with great teams is a constant. When I'm working with thoughtful, collaborative, engaged people (traits I put effort to bring to the table myself every day) to solve problems and bring digital experiences to life, it *sometimes* feels like work, but even on those days there isn't a career I'd rather have. I've partnered with designers, developers, photographers, content creators, marketers, customers, salespeople and more, and together we've created mouthwatering tools to help people design their dream homes...to discover great local food and restaurants...to find and order the perfect meal...to plan their vacation...to generate complex custom cabinetry specifications in a few clicks...to quote and sell $80,000 kitchen appliance packages, and, well...what I feel like I've done more than anything is give people new, easier ways to get the job done. It's what I love to do.
