Been around the testing block for some years in different organisations and varied industries and has learnt a lot, enough to know how much more there is to learn. Believes agile is a neat way of engineering solutions and is still on the journey to complete full realisation of the manifesto and principles. Seeks lessons from observing the world and all its’ many aspects, twists and turns and enjoys applying those lessons to today’s life, work and everything, where applicable. Able to spot scams, lies and untruths and devises tests to highlight those.Comfortable resolving a crisis, establishing the important issues, communicating those issues and then resolving those issues.A strong believer in the power of teams and the individuals within those teams.Perhaps paradoxically, a seasoned cynic and an ebullient optimist. The cynical side helps with the questioning to establish what is required and plan contingencies whilst the optimism sets the BHAGs to ensure the results are never mediocre. Will do the Friday late night thing, but will then make changes to ensure that either it never happens again or if it does happen again it is very much less of a chore.Likes to be told what results are required and then be left to achieve them. Always able to find an upside of any situation no matter how bleak it may appear and then use this as the strong focus to pull through.Confront my own fears and concerns, at least once, to determine the reality, or not, of those fears.
