Contributed to the design and development of firmware for a prototype blood pressure device. Designed and developed the firmware for a heart monitoring device as well as the associated mobile software that interfaced with the device.Responsibilities:● Gather software product requirements● Translate those requirements into a software design and implementation plan, including researching potential implementation solutions● Provide design/implementation timeline estimates and milestones● Code, build, and test the approved design● Provide technical support and software training● Provide software documentation● Handle maintenance updates for firmware

Currently mastering C#, ASP.NET and Extreme Programming practices while also providing some consulting work for NewsAhead.com.

I work across teams and disciplines to facilitate progress for multiple projects at once. This includes requirements gathering and clarification, scheduling, prioritizing projects and communicating critical information to all personnel who need it. My focus in this in role is on the software aspects of projects, but that will grow to include more electrical and possibly mechanical portions in time.

We're a smaller company at the moment so I wear many hats. I basically work on any tasks that are required to be completed in order to release software: design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, project organization, etc.. It can be difficult, but exciting to be working on cutting edge technology.
